Dr Thaddeus Birchard

Founder

DPsych in Psychotherapy, MSc in Psychosexual Therapy. Accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.

Dr Birchard is the founder of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity and the Marylebone Centre for Psychological Therapies.

He created the first UK based treatment programme for sexual addiction and the first training programme for therapists to work with sexual addiction.

Dr Birchard was previously an Hon. CBT Therapist at the Maudsely and South London NHS Trust.

He is the author of CBT for Compulsive Sexual Behaviour: A Guide for Professionals and Overcoming Sex Addiction: A Self Help Guide. He is the co-editor of the International Handbook of Sexual Addiction.

Susan Watkins

Integrative Counsellor

Sue is a fully qualified, highly experienced and senior accredited, integrative counsellor, who has been working with both individuals since 2007 and couples since 2008. Sue has also worked with leading national providers of relationship therapy including charities,  employee assistance programmes,  crisis management.

She has gained knowledge working in the NHS and understands the pressures of working in fast paced, private sector environments.

 

Abigail Thompson

Abigail offers psychotherapy to both individuals and couples. She is a trained sex and relationship therapist, as well as having additional training in supporting clients with sex, pornography addictions and compulsive sexual behaviours.

 

Margitta Detjen

Margitta is a trainee integrative psychotherapist. With a legal background her work is based on the belief that every journey is unique in finding a sense of direction, connection and belonging. Her approach is gentle, intuitive and open minded. She supports her clients to gain understanding and find meaning in their experiences. Margitta hosts a safe space to explore difficulties and vulnerabilities to provide relief from pain and distress. She believes that our challenges enable us to gain new insights and inspire growth.
